How to create a Location?

The Location is the premise associated with the Account where a Meter is installed. To create a Location, go to Locations on the main menu and select the Create Location button.

From the Create Location form, enter the External ID that is used by the client to identify the location. The is typically a CIS location ID or account ID. From there you enter the premise address and press the Create button.

After creating the Location, review the details to confirm the information is correct. If you need to change any of the information, use the Edit tab at the bottom. However, that the External ID is not editable.
