How do I pay off an arrears from wallet funds?
Arrears collection is automatic, based on the amount set to collect from each top-up (percentage based). In certain cases a customer or the utility may want to use wallet funds to pay off an arrears. To do this, the customer must first have available funds in their wallet.
Open the arrears item
Go to the customer's account and select the Arrears tab. In the ledger, click the ID of the arrears item you want to pay to open its details page.
Complete the payment
On the details page, click Pay. This brings up the payment dialog.

Select Wallet for the Payment Method.
- Enter the Amount to apply against the balance.
When complete, click Pay to complete the transaction. The system creates a payment transaction and an associated receipt; the receipt's Payment Method shows as wallet.
The payment now appears in the item's Payment History on the details page, reducing its Remaining Balance. To clear a balance you've decided not to collect instead, see How do I write-off an arrears?.
